TERRA 42nd Annual Symposium Exhibition

On Friday, July 5 at 8 p.m., the 43rd International Terracotta Terracotta Sculpture Symposium was officially opened in the Tera gallery in Kikinda. The opening of the symposium was marked by the annual exhibition of sculptures created at last year’s 42nd symposium, whose participants were: Ledija Kostandini (Albania), Jorge Beda Morcillo Juliani (Spain), Nikola Nenadić (Croatia), while the Republic of Serbia was represented by artists Čedomir Vasić, Saša Pančić and Miroljub Stamenković. The mayor of Kikinda spoke at the opening ceremony Nikola Lukač,

Dragan Traparić from the Provincial Secretariat for Culture and Information and Nela Tonković, curator and art historian from the Contemporary Gallery in Subotica, author of the text of the exhibition catalog.

At the annual exhibition, the works created at last year’s 41st Symposium Tera, 2021, are exhibited, the authors of which are:

The artistic director and supervisor of this year’s symposium is dr.um. Igor Smiljanić, academic sculptor and senior professional associate at the sculpture department of the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. The annual exhibition can be viewed at the Terra Gallery until August 29, 2024.
