Terra Viva – Art Fest

Under the auspices of the International Symposium Terra, the project TERA VIVA – ART FEST arose as a result of the synergy between thematic events – Terra Acustica, Terra Beats, Terra Classica, Terra Poetica and Terra Kids, and close cooperation of all these events with the TERRA Symposium.

This manifestation takes place as a multi-day festival, creative-research-educational and audio-visual event that brings together mostly young and non-established bands/performers/songwriters/poets, dabbling in various contemporary art styles, as well as artistic and educational workshops with different social groups.

The central part of the event is the music festival titled Terra Acustica & Terra Beats, which is based on the promotion of less popular, but still well-known names of the domestic and regional music scene. In the broadest sense, the focus is on rock and roll, but not strictly as a musical direction, but as a subcultural social phenomenon that still tends to point out various aspects of society and societal problems of the modern age. MaraQya, Manivi, Kralj Čačka, Izet Medošević, Jelena Petošević, Katarina Pejak, Drvo Truo, Vanya con Trios, Radica Petrović, Kezz, Ubivae Soundsystem, Zlatan Goldman, Furashi, are just some of the numerous performers who presented themselves to the Kikinda audience during previous festivals.

The evening of classical music Terra Classica supports young classical music performers and brings them closer to the experience of performing in unconventional concert venues such as, in this case, the Terra Atelier (which is unequivocally an inspiring space for creative action).

Terra Poetica, a poetry reading evening, introduces authors/performers to the Kikinda audience in the Tera Atelier, through numerous genres of poetry.

Terra Kids is an artistic and educational event realized as a series of workshops in cooperation with teachers, instructors, preschool teachers, lecturers and participating artists.

The festival has been held continuously since 2012 and, through its diverse programme, Terra Viva has always been actively engaged in connecting culture with tourism, small businesses, educational institutions.
