Art Contact: French and Serbian Sculpture from the Terra Collection
Terra Museum on Saturday 21.07. 2024. at 4 PM was the opening of the exhibition “Art Contact: French and Serbian Sculpture from the Terra Collection.” The exhibition will be open until August 31st for the local audience, and in December it will move to Paris, where it will be displayed at the Serbian Cultural Center.
The project features an exhibition of terracotta sculptures by French and Serbian artists created over the past four decades during the International Symposium of Terracotta Sculpture Terra in Kikinda. The selection testifies to the bond built between our country and France in the realm of contemporary artistic creation, knowledge and experience transfer, as well as networking, resulting in works of exceptional artistic value.
The priority of this project is to strengthen the instruments of cultural diplomacy through art and intercultural dialogue, where the role of bilateral cooperation between France and Serbia is reflected in the joint contribution of French and Serbian artists’ works to the cultural heritage of the Republic of Serbia.
