The 42nd International Symposium Terra started

On Friday, July 6 at 8 p.m., the 42nd International Terracotta Terracotta Sculpture Symposium was officially opened in the Tera gallery in Kikinda. The opening of the symposium was marked by the annual exhibition of sculptures created at last year’s 41st symposium.

The following spoke at the official opening: Kikinda Mayor Nikola Lukač, Miodrag Ivanović, State Secretary for Culture and Verica Nemet, curator and art historian at CLPU Terra, author of the exhibition catalog.

At the annual exhibition, the works created at last year’s 41st Symposium Tera, 2021, are exhibited, the authors of which are:

Julija Klemm – Germany, Ivana Radovanović – Montenegro, Bernard Rüdiger – France/Italy, Aleksandar Bunčić – Serbia, Lazar Marković – Serbia, Bogdan Vukosavljević – Serbia.

The artistic director and supervisor of this year’s Symposium is Igor Smiljanić,Ph.D., academic sculptor and senior professional associate at the sculpture department of the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.

The annual exhibition can be viewed in the Terra gallery until August 31, 2022.

As part of this year’s 42nd Tera symposium, sculptors are participating:

Ledija Kostandini (Albania), Jorge Beda Morcillo Juliani (Spain), Nikola Nenadić (Croatia), while the Republic of Serbia is represented by artists Čedomir Vasić, Saša Pančić and Miroljub Stamenković. Read more about the artists here.
