Vladan Sibinović’s Exhibition “Cosmogony of Play”
Vladan Sibinović’s Exhibition “Cosmogony of Play” Officially Opened at the Terra Museum Salon
On Saturday, September 5th, the solo exhibition “Cosmogony of Play” (Kosmogonija igre) by artist Vladan Sibinović was officially opened in the crowded Salon of the Terra Museum in Kikinda. The opening attracted a large number of contemporary art lovers, fellow citizens, and colleagues, who had the opportunity to be among the first to step into this artist’s unique, playful universe.
The great public turnout testifies to the continuous interest in quality artistic content that CLPU Terra traditionally fosters. Attendees enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere of the authentic gallery space, and the presence of the artist himself added special value to the event. Visitors used the opportunity to talk directly with Vladan Sibinović and learn more about his creative process and the motives behind this multi-layered exhibition.
About the exhibition:
The exhibition “Cosmogony of Play” represents a carefully designed spatial dialogue between two-dimensional and three-dimensional forms, perfectly integrated into the specific ambient of the Terra Museum Salon. Through brightly colored paintings dominated by pastel tones and abstract-geometric shapes, as well as fascinating spatial installations, Sibinović explores the concept of creation and origin through the prism of play.
Special attention of the audience was drawn to the hanging installations with ceramic spheres that resemble planets in a kind of cosmic dance, as well as meticulously crafted smaller ceramic objects. The artist successfully combines classical materials and modern forms, inviting the observer to surrender to imagination and the game of recognizing shapes.
