Biography
Božica Radjenović was born on October 9, 1965 in Belgrade. In 1989, she graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, in the class of prof. Jovan Kratohvil. She finished her postgraduate studies in 1991, in the class of prof. Slavoljub Radojčić. Lives and works in Ottawa since 1993. She exhibited at many solo and group exhibitions. Among the most important solo exhibitions and projects realized in recent years, istitawa School of Art Gallery, “Harbourfront Centre” in Toronto and “Karsh Mason Gallery” in Ottawa. Her works are in the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Cepter Museum in Belgrade, the City Art Collection of the City of Ottawa, as well as in private collections in Canada and Europe. We include: Element of Destruction, RIA Artist Project Room, Ottawa, Canada; Mississippi Valley Textile Museum, Almonte, Canada, Quartair Artist Initiative, The Hague, Netherlands, KCB Art Gallery, FLU Gallery, Belgrade, “Ottawa School of Art Gallery”, “Harbourfront Centre” in Toronto and “Karsh Mason Gallery” in Ottawa. Her works are in the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Cepter Museum in Belgrade, the City Art Collection of the City of Ottawa, as well as in private collections in Canada and Europe.
