Muziwandile Sibongiseni Gigaba

Muziwandile Sibongiseni Gigaba was born at Kwa Mashu Township on the 26th of August 1984. In the same county, he graduated his Fine Art Master’s studies at the University of Kwa Zulu-Natal (PMB) Campus. He is the 2012 Emma Smith Award recipient, due to this he has worked and displayed works at some galleries in the USA. He works with multimedia, for the cross-pollination of the use of media, material, and processes of art-making are his main inspiration and these serve as a metaphor of global culture and its effects on us.
