Text from catalogue – …The works of Nikola Nenadić fascinate with their similarity in treatment of volume but difference in narration. Because of his use of human forms and the “animation” of materials derived from this concept, his works are classified with those whose universal shapes call for a particular resolution, in this case terracotta. As a result, Nenadić’s use of warm, comforting materials with evocative, somewhat recognisable materials to support his scenery and forms creates a singular aesthetic experience.
