Biography
Olivera Parlić
Olivera Parlić Karajanković was born in Belgrade in 1971. She completed her sculpture studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 1997. Since 2005, she has been teaching at the Sculpture Department of the faculty she attended, where she currently works as an associate professor. Since 1997, she has exhibited her works both in Serbia and abroad. In addition to solo exhibitions, she also exhibited at the October Salon (2003, 2005). She participated in the Out project of the Institute for Art in Public Space in Styria/Austria, and in the Styrian Autumn Exhibition in 2009 in Graz, Austria. In 2017, she presented her work at the Chinese Art Museum in Shanghai as part of the Voyage – Journey through Serbian Modern Art exhibition. She won an award from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade for her portraits and the Sreten Stojanović award.
