Petar Barišić (Vrlika, 1954) is one of the most prominent contemporary Croatian sculptors. He is a full member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts and a former professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. For more than four decades, he has developed a distinctive body of work focused on exploring the relationships between form, space, light, and material. He has exhibited extensively internationally, and his works are held in public spaces and collections in Croatia and abroad.
