Biography
Petar Sibinović
He was born in 1986. He graduated (2010) and received his doctorate (2018) at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, at the sculpture department. He has been a member of ULUS since 2015. Since 2010, he has been actively involved in the artistic life. He exhibited at more than 20 solo exhibitions in the country and abroad, as well as at numerous collective exhibitions. Winner of several awards in the field of sculpture and drawing. His works are in public and private collections in Serbia, as well as in many private collections throughout Europe.
Text from the catalog – At the symposium, Petar Sibinović sculpted a series of harmonious relief creations that evoke the appearance of totemic solutions with their formal structure. The artist demonstrates a sense of the rhythm of relief recesses and protrusions, demonstrating the certainty of the arrangement of formal elements. His monumental sculpture is conceived differently: it is a cube that possesses a convincing static but also an unexpected playfulness, even a kind of airiness that really pleases the viewer.
