She graduated from the sculpture department of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 1974, in the class of prof. Jovana Kratohvila and received her master’s degree at the same faculty in 1976, in the class of prof. Nikola Janković. He has been a member of ULUS since 1976. He started working at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in 1983. He has been a full professor at the Department of Sculpture since 2003. He lives in Belgrade.
The main problem in the sculpture of Borislava Nedeljković Prodanović is the lying form, which is placed in a predominantly horizontal space (materials: clay, stone, bronze, aluminum). Lying forms are embedded in architectural, landscape, biomorphic and urban space. He has been consistently examining, getting to know, outsmarting clay for forty years. She is interested in elasticity, extensibility, plasticity, tension, looseness, blueness, its suffering state. He likes strong, concise modulation with surface lyricism. He is happy to teach students the poetics of clay, passing on his experience to them.
