Gabriel Glid (Belgrade 1966), sculptor
Graduated from the sculpture department of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 1992, in the class of professor Nikola Janković, and received his master’s degree in 1994, in the class of the same professor. Since 2009, he has been working at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, where he was elected assistant professor in 2012.
Exhibited (since 1990) at individual and group exhibitions in the former Yugoslavia and in several European cities (Thessalonica, Bratislava, Amsterdam, Moscow, Paris…).
His works are in the most important public and private collections in Serbia (Museum of Contemporary Art and National Museum in Belgrade, Belgrade City Museum, Zepter Museum, Telenor Collection). He is the winner of several awards in the field of fine arts, Golden Chisel Award, Spring Exhibition, 1993, Award for Sculpture, Biennale of Miniature Art Gornji Milanovac, 2000.
