Biography

Hyoung Yoon Kim

“I sculpted a human figure that will be neither male nor female, but simply human. It doesn’t matter if it’s a man or a woman. I sculpted only the lower half of the face, the upper part of the head was not sculpted. The background and lower part of the sculpture will symbolize a tree. The human figure and the tree symbolize parts of nature that merge into one whole. The second, upper half of the face and head, which will not be seen, represents the mental level, the presentation of the mind, the imagination. The missing part will symbolize the mind.”
