Mira Brtka

(Novi Banovci (Stara Pazova), October 5, 1930 – Belgrade, December 18, 2014).
Brtka graduated from the Academy of Theater and Film Arts, Department of Film Direction in Belgrade in 1959. Then he went to Rome, where he enrolled in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts and worked in various jobs in the field of film – as assistant and secretary to the director, animator, set designer, costume designer. Also, she worked within two international art groups: “Illumination”, whose founder was the Japanese Nobuya Abe, and as part of the international artistic-activist movement “Bureau for Preventive Imagination”. For several decades, he has been an active participant in the Roman and Yugoslav/Serbian art scene.
