Born in Novi Sad in 1975. Graduated from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, artistic discipline sculpting in 1999, in the class of professor Milun Vidić. Member of SULUV since 2005. In 2008, he completed his master’s studies in the artistic discipline of sculpture at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad under the mentorship of professor Borislav Suput. since 2011, he has been employed as an assistant professor at the Department of Sculpture. He is a member of ULUS. He exhibited at 11 solo exhibitions, over 40 collective exhibitions and participated in the work of twenty art colonies, symposiums and workshops in the country and abroad.

Text from the catalog – Ranko Dragić defines his sculpture-landscapes with clay, which is an authentic element of the local landscape. In fact, the artist deals with a kind of (re)shaping of the earth in order to reach an authentic sculptural work, and because of this, these sculptures suggestively associate the natural environment – leading our thoughts to the issue of ecology, warning us to respect the primordial importance of nature as a living environment.
