Prilog – RTV

14. januar 2026. u 19 časova otvorena je izložba Gorana Jureše ,,Homosacer – heterotipije” u Galeriji Terra

On January 14, 2026, at 7 p.m., the exhibition “Homosacer – heterotypes” by Goran Jureša was opened in the Terra Gallery

Goran Jureša is an artist whose work explores the complex relationships between the body, identity and contemporary society.
Starting from the motif of the fragmented and reconstructed human body, in this series of works, Jureša develops a visual narrative about the boundaries between life and its shadow — what Giorgio Agamben calls “another life in the same body.” In his work, man appears as a being on the edge, between rational and emotional, between survival and resistance.
This exhibition opens the new exhibition season of Terra Gallery and also represents the first guest appearance of the artist Goran Jureša in Kikinda.
Critic Ivona Fregl, in the text accompanying the exhibition, points out that “Jureša’s man does not evoke pity, but complicit empathy — because he articulates what happens to many of us.”
Goran Jureša was born in Belgrade in 1973. He graduated, master’s and doctorate at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, where he currently works as a full professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences. His oeuvre includes drawings, paintings and collages, and he exhibited in numerous galleries in the country and the region, among them the Cultural Center of Belgrade, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina and the Zvono Gallery.
The exhibition in the Terra Gallery will be open until mid-February 2026.
