Exhibition “TERRA-SCULPTURES” in Valjevo

The Center for Fine and Applied Art “Terra” had the honor to present a small part of the rich collection of gallery-format terracotta sculptures to the Valjevo audience and to its colleagues as part of the “TERRA – SCULPTURE” exhibition last night.

Thanks to the agreement on long-term cooperation with the International Art Studio “Radovan Trnavac Mića” from Valjevo, the exchange of artistic productions created within the annual program activities of our institutions will begin this calendar year.

These collaborations are very important because they contribute to the presentation and promotion of contemporary fine art as well as the international collections inherited by our institutions.

It is planned that in the future, through various projects, international fine artists from all over the world will be presented to the general public, and that through their work, trends on the current fine art scene will be followed.

The international art studio “Radovan Trnavac Mića”, thanks to the wise people of the town of Valjevo, is located in the building of the old market barter, which in its architectural design has features of Serbian architecture from the end of the 19th century. So far, the Studio has hosted over 350 notable artists from numerous countries on six continents, who left 243 works of art as a gift to the Gallery.
