Biography
Mirsad Begić
He was born in 1953 in Glamoč. In 1979, he graduated from the sculpture department of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana, where he completed his specialization (Drago Tršar). He continued his studies in Zagreb and at the St. Martin’s School of Art in London. In addition to traditional sculptural materials, he is engaged in research in new materials such as wax or ropes. He has been awarded several times for his work. With personal and group exhibitions, he is actively present in the world and in Slovenia. Lives and works in Ljubljana.
