Biography
Maja Rakočević Cvijanov (1975, Subotica) graduated and obtained her master’s degree in sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade. Currently a doctoral student of sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade. Employed in the Inter-municipal Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments of Subotica as a sculptor-conservator. In addition, he teaches sculpture to art technicians at the Polytechnic High School in Subotica. Member of the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia (ULUS). She has been awarded several times for her work in Subotica, Vršac, and Belgrade.

She has exhibited at numerous collective exhibitions in the country and abroad (Belgrade, Pancevo, Nis, Novi Sad, Subotica, Cetinje, Herceg Novi, Maribor, Prague, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Frankfurt am Main, Saarbrucken, Krems on the Danube, New York, Paris .. .). Her works are in the collections of the Contemporary Gallery Zrenjanin, the TERRA Museum, the Cultural Center Belgrade, the Modern Gallery Art Meeting Subotica, the Stadtpark Gallery, Krems on the Danube, Austria.
