Nikola Macura – From noise to sound

On Saturday, May, 15th at the Museum of Terra hosted the solo exhibition and art performance of an academic sculptor and professor at the Academy of Fine Arts Sculpture Department in Novi Sad, Nikola Macura entitled “From noise to sound” which is part of the author’s doctoral thesis. The project is called “From noise to sound” with the relationship of sculpture and sound, i.e. the process of redesigning military props into sound objects, with the idea of presenting the essence of the project by its very name. Kikinda musicians took part in the musical performance with the support of a saxophonist from Novi Sad who bears the same name and surname as the author of the exhibition, Nikola Macura.
